How do I over sow my my lawn?
Posted by Suttons Staff on 16 December 2014 01:04 PM

Many lawns lose their quality grasses due to drought and general wear and tear so it is importantant your lawn is cared for.

The lawn can be over sown to re-vamp it with our Rapid Green Self Repairing Lawn Seed.

Mow the lawn and rake thoroughly to remove any clippings, dead grass and to provide a surface for the grass to establish. Apply a light coating of soil or garden compost , rake and tread gently. Scatter the seed evenly at a rate of 17.5-35g per sq. metre (half to one ounce per sq. yard) and rake in gently. Water the area and maintain moisture levels to prevent the young grass drying out.
