This deciduous Callicarpa bodinieri 'Profusion' shrub has small pink flowers and dark leaves in summer followed by clusters of bead-like violet berries in autumn that linger after leaf-fall. 

Grow in full sun or partial shade in a well drained soil. The berries are produced on the current season’s growth and therefore the plant can be cut back hard annually in spring when the buds start to swell.
