How do I plant my Snowdrop bulbs?
Posted by Suttons Staff on 12 December 2014 01:29 PM

This early spring flowering  Snowdrop bulb requires a moist soil and partial shade.

In heavy clay soils plant the bulbs 10 cm (4") deep and 15 cm (6") and 10 cm (4") apart.

In light sandy soils plant the bulbs 15 cm (6") deep and 10 cm (4") apart.

Snowdrops supplied 'in the green' should be planted as soon as possible to prevent them drying out.
