My Saffron Crocus have grown well but have failed to flower, what should I do?

Occasionally Saffron Crocus may fail to flower. To encourage flowering feed the plants with a balanced liquid fertilizer before the foliage dies back in April/May. When the plants are dormant during the summer months keep them dry which will aid flower bud to initiation.
