Dormant strawberries.
Posted by Suttons Staff on 09 December 2014 02:57 PM

Our strawberry plants are supplied in a dormant state. There may be a few dead leaves on the plants which should be removed. At the time of delivery there may not be any signs of new growth however, the strawberries should be planted straightaway and then will quickly start to put on new growth when conditions become suitable. If soil and weather conditions are unsuitable for planting when you receive the plants, heel them in a spare piece of ground, or plant them in a pot to stop the roots drying out until there is an improvement in conditions.
