Fruit tree rootstocks - what rootstock is used?
Posted by Suttons Staff on 09 December 2014 02:57 PM

Most fruit trees are grafted onto a closely related species rootstock to predetermine the size and vigour of the tree and to give the best possible yields. We have carefully chosen rootstocks (all of which are certified virus free) to ensure that our trees grow, crop well and remain of manageable size in your garden.

Details as to which rootstocks are used for different varieties can be found in our catalogue and on our website.
