How do I care for my Callicarpa bodinieri 'Profusion'?
Posted by Suttons Staff on 16 July 2013 07:51 am

This deciduous Callicarpa bodinieri 'Profusion' shrub has small pink flowers and dark leaves in summer followed by clusters of bead-like violet berries in autumn that linger after leaf-fall.

Grow in full sun or partial shade in a well drained soil. The berries are produced on the current season’s growth and therefore the plant can be cut back hard annually in spring when the buds start to swell.

Height 3m (10ft) spread 2.5m (8ft).
